CAUSES OF WEIGHT LOSS.


Weight loss is a decrease in somebodys weight intentionally or unintentionally. Below are some things that usually cause weight loss:
Depression. Weight loss may be a side effect of depression. Depression can be defined as feeling sad,lost or empty for atleast two weeks.These emotions usually interfere with some part of brain that controls appetite. Hence, these leads to loss in appetite and eventually, loss in weight.
A low calorie diet.This simply refers to the diet that contains little fat.Consumption of more fats usually adds weight to the body.Therefore reduced fat consumption causes loss in weight.
Cancer.This refers to diseases that causes abnormal cells to quickly divide and spread.Cancer increases inflammation that cause muscle wasting and disrupts appetite regulatory hormone.
Congestive heart failure.This refers to the condition that develops when heart cant fill up with enough blood,heart cant pump with enough force ,or both.This condition is usually a complication of weight loss.Congestive heart failure causes difficulty in breathing while eating .This discourages someone from eating and hence leading to loss weight.
HIV.This is a disease that makes immune cells not be able to fight infections.Symptoms such as fatigue, sore throats and mouth sores may make eating uncomfortable hence leading to loss weight.
